Manchester Fuel Depot Shoreline Assessment and Conceptual Design, WA

A portion of the rock revetment slope of the U.S. Navy Manchester Fuel Depot had sustained long-term damage and posed a threat to upland infrastructure.  Coast & Harbor Engineering conducted a Condition Assessment, performed a coastal engineering analysis, and developed design concepts to aid in the development of shore protection improvement alternatives for the U.S. Navy. From the modeling results and CHE recommendations, the client selected the preferred shoreline protection/restoration alternative to be an improved rock revetment structure with minimal environmental impact.
